My Blogger Category

I have been hovering at some blog sites (I usually follow and some new sites as well) when I come across The Blog Awards. I've already known this for years now but while reading it, I just suddenly asked myself: so what's your blog category?

Hmmm ... confused blog category? I just write whatever I want here. Mostly everyday experiences. Nothing outstanding. Nothing inspirational.

Maybe I can call it my personal blog diary. But do they have that? Personal POV blog.

And I just laughed.

I've always contradict my own norm. When everybody's liking to hold their camera and do some professional photography, I kind of lost interest. It's like being "in" but what happens if it is not anymore? Will I still like to hold my camera? Or that dress, if i buy it now just because everybody's going crazy about it, what will happen if the fad fades? Will it just be hidden in my closet?

What I'm trying to point I guess is, just be yourself. Just like in one of favorite sites Tumblr, you don't post blogs just to get a lot of followers or readers. You just simply want to express yourself. But you are still hoping that by the words you wrote, or writing and will be writing in the future, it will matter to some.

Thunderbird Resorts Planner 2011

Hmm ... I actually said there'll be no more additional planner for me since I already have one. But upon seeing the 2011 planner from Thunderbird Resorts, I said I gotta have one. What I like about it is that it is dedicated to the environment. It's like having a planner and a cause, too.

I just hope I'll get the chance to have one (or win this!) since in one of my blog posts, I already expressed my desire to go there by next year. I just wish it'll push through early part of the year! Just so crazy about this resort so much! Really so much!!! :)

Starbucks Planner 2011

Oh ok ... I said as my friend is heading towards Starbucks. In my mind, she will treat me again for a drinks and any food on the counter that can add some stickers again on her stickery-whatevery-starbucksy whatchamacalit ...

I did have two rounds. After not being able to sleep after working in graveyard shift and walking all over Makati, I really need to have that drink.

As we went to the counter, I told my friend to reach for the Starbucks planner. Not that I am planning to buy one, because literally you can't have it until you and your friends drowned yourself in coffee the Starbucks way, but let's just call it curiosity.

And I really think I am not a lover of coffee. Hot ones. Because I love mocha frappe - that counts as coffee, right? But I like the cold ones. But in general, most of the page are about coffee. Where you can drink it, trivias about coffee, when is the best time to drink it and a lot of talks about coffee.

Many may spit on me (hahaha, you try!) but I kinda don't like it. The first one I have was two years ago, I was not able to use it. Maybe because I can't see the worth of spending a thousand pesos just for this planner. It's like owning a moleskine nooks, right? I am not criticizing, I'm just saying. But hey, every year, they never fail to hit high on their sales because of these planners, huh?

But since it is for free, courtesy of my friend, she spent another five hundred pesos for some stickers again on the Starbucks promo. Is it the planner or is it really drinking at Starbucks? Whatever!

Couch Potato Mode

I'd like to do a movie marathon before the New Year's end. I don't know ... just for some kicks. And with that, I borrowed a lot of DVD's from my friends and here it goes. I have 50 DVD's to watch. All of them, I made sure, are my favorite ones.

KFC Break

Me and my dad went to QC Eye center for his err ... eye checkup. There was a long line and hmmm .... waiting ... and waiting ....

So, while waiting, I told my dad that I'll go out for a while after making sure he's seated inside the center, fully-airconditioned and with a nice comfy chair.

While outside, I started doing some point and shoot. Mr. KFC was my first point shot. Seems to me that he's smiling at me and telling me 'take a picture of me!'

So I did!

Gotcha Again!

I just got my 2nd Christmas wish list. Again, if no one can give it to you, give it to yourself. That's what I did. And that's enough to make me happy. Sounds bitter! Hahaha!

With all the files and movies stored in my HDD, I'm seeing my hard drive capacity getting slimmer and slimmer (if only my body can go with it LOL) and it's not good. To think I have a lot of projects to do. And I am also planning to download more movies and songs! But no to piracy, OK? :)

So, here I am, just bought my portable hard drive. And after reviewing the things I've put in it, its just all songs and videos. Summary of all my most treasured collections! And I thought I'll be putting there my most important files and I thought isn't your memories are the most important? Amen to that!

I don't have any issues with it after having setting it up. At first, I had some but I realized it is just conflicting with one of the devices that is not properly installed in my computer - my webcam! My bf would be so furious if I can't get it working, too, so after I've done setting up my external HDD, I went straight on fixing my webcam. It's just kinda hard when you're miles away to each other .. :(

Anyways, merry christmas to me and happy use of my gadgets!!!
